Baby Ellams: A Testament to the Power of Compassion

On the 16th of January 2025, Saint Patrick Love Ministry (SPLM) received a distress call about Baby Ellams, a male preterm neonate born on the 13th of December 2024 at Ayodele Medical Centre. Baby Ellams, born to a young unmarried mother with a birth weight of just 1kg, has been in the hospital since birth. His family is unable to afford the cost of his care, and his urgent need for a blood transfusion became a matter of life and death as his PCV dropped to 21%.

In response to this urgent call, SPLM reached out to our community of supporters, and within 24 hours, we were able to raise ₦100,000 to cover the cost of the transfusion and provide for some of his pending investigations. This remarkable show of love and solidarity has brought hope to Baby Ellams and his family during this critical time.

While this is a significant milestone, Baby Ellams still requires ongoing care and support. We will continue to be in touch with his family to provide further assistance as needed. However, we cannot do this alone. We invite you to join us in our mission to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Your prayers, contributions, and encouragement mean the world to Baby Ellams and countless others like him. Together, we can continue to reflect God’s love and light, one life at a time.

For contributions or inquiries, please contact us at +2348133678997. Let us be the hands and feet of Christ, bringing healing and hope to those in need.

At Saint Patrick Love Ministry (SPLM), our mission is to embody Christ’s love by extending compassion and support to those in need. Today, we are delighted to share a special update about a cherished child, Elyon Utenwojo Dominion.

Elyon, born on May 11, 2019, was diagnosed with quadriplegic spastic cerebral palsy. Despite the challenges, he is a beacon of courage and hope, undergoing physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy at the Child and Adolescent Neuro Center in Oshodi, Lagos.

Elyon is on several medications to manage his symptoms and control seizures. He is non-verbal, totally dependent, and relies on supportive devices for sitting and preventing contractures. These interventions are crucial for his well-being and quality of life.

Through God’s grace and the generous contributions of our supporters, SPLM has taken up the responsibility of covering Elyon’s medical expenses, including his monthly HMO dues, medications, and therapy. We also actively raise funds to support his other essential needs, His pending needs are a movement aid like CP WHEEL CHAIR, medications which is a continuous thing.
